After an exciting first day at UI5con, the second day of CodeConnect 2025 continued with re>≡CAP, the SAP Cloud Application Programming Model event. This time, the focus was on backend development, CAP (BTP), cloud-native architectures, and the entire SAP backend ecosystem. The sessions and discussions clearly showed the direction in which backend development at SAP is moving. Topics related to microservices, integration, and cloud-first approaches were particularly prominent. New CAP features, best practices, and the developer strategy were also discussed in detail.

We attended the first day of CodeConnect 2025 at the UI5con in St. Leon-Rot.
